Book Positioning Guide
This guide will establish a clear and uniform message for the creation of both your book and your future book marketing. This guide will not only help you pitch your book to publishers, but it will make your writers, editors, marketers, and anyone else working on this book very happy!
The Process:
We schedule a call, I help you make decisions to answer the questions on this document.
I work my magic to make the language clear and concise.
You review the Guide, I make up to 3 rounds of edits. When we’re finished, it will look something like this.
You’re happy with the Book Positioning Guide, and now you have all the information you need to create your Book Outline!

Book Outline
I will create your Book Outline – the skeleton of your book – which you can use to write your book or have someone else do it for you. No matter who writes the book, the Outline is necessary to start the writing process.
Note: The Book Positioning Guide must be completed first because it determines the structure of the Outline.
The Process:
We schedule calls to talk about how the structure of your book will translate into your outline. I ask you lots of questions.
I work my magic to organize all of your thoughts into your Book Outline.
You review the document, I make up to 3 rounds of edits.
You’re happy with the Book Outline, and you now have everything you need to write this book!

If you don’t want to write the book yourself, I can write the manuscript for you in your voice with your ideas. I offer three different pacing options for ghostwriting that best suit your life circumstances and budget.
The Ghostwriting Package takes your book from just an idea to a manuscript ready for publishing. It includes the Book Positioning Guide, Book Outline, Ghostwriting, and Editing.
The Process:
We schedule a call to make sure I’m the right writer for you.
I create the Book Positioning Guide and Book Outline.
We schedule writing sessions that follow the outline.
I ask you questions on a recorded call, you respond, and I take lots of notes.
I write a rough first draft, ask you more questions, and then write more.
I make up to 3 rounds of developmental edits, then 3 rounds of copyedits.
Your book is ready to bring to a publisher!
Writing Coaching
If hiring a ghostwriter is out of your budget, or you just want to write your book yourself, I can help you write it over a series of one-on-one coaching sessions.
The Process:
We schedule a call to make sure I’m the right writing coach for you.
I review your supporting materials (Ex. Book Positioning Guide, Book Outline, and anything you’ve written so far).
We schedule sessions to discuss your manuscript and I make suggestions to help guide your writing process.
You go off and write some more.
We repeat steps 2 thru 4 until you have used up all of your session hours or until you finish the rough draft of the manuscript.
Editing Services
Editing transforms your manuscript from a draft to a final copy.
I offer developmental editing and copyediting services.
Developmental Edits
Developmental edits are “big picture,” structural edits, conducted after the draft of the manuscript is complete. Up to 3 rounds of revisions.
Rate: ~$0.49 per word
Copyedits are more granular, mechanical edits concerned with grammar, spelling, syntax, and formatting. Up to 3 rounds of revisions.
Copyedits
Rate: ~$0.39 per word
Dub me your developmental editor and copyeditor, and I will give you a 15% discount.
Publishing
Ready to publish? My publishing partners can make it happen! When you work with me on your manuscript, you access special rates to a book cover designer and a publishing company that will make your book a Best Seller.
